Method
- 1. Melt 1/2 cup of coconut oil in a double boiler or microwave.
- 2. Mash a ripe banana with a fork until smooth.
- 3. Mix the melted coconut oil and mashed banana thoroughly.
- 4. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger.
- 5. Fill silicone molds with the mixture.
- 6. Freeze for 1 hour or until set.
- 7. Store in the freezer in an airtight container.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness.
**Never use xylitol—it’s toxic to dogs!**
