Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped spinach
  • 1/4 cup grated carrot
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder optional

Method
 

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 170°F or set up a dehydrator.
  2. 2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix well.
  3. 3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. 4. Shape the mixture into sticks about 1/2-inch thick and 4-5 inches long.
  5. 5. Place on the baking sheet without touching.
  6. 6. Bake for 4-6 hours, flipping halfway, until firm and chewy.
  7. 7. Cool completely before serving.

Notes

Use turkey, chicken, or venison as alternatives to beef.
Swap spinach for kale, zucchini, or pumpkin for variety.
Add blueberries for extra antioxidants.
Ensure sticks are fully cooled before storing.
