Berry Yogurt Frozen Bones: A Refreshing Summer Treat

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt unsweetened, free of artificial sweeteners
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries washed
  • 1/4 cup fresh strawberries washed and hulled

Method
 

  1. 1. In a blender or food processor, combine Greek yogurt, blueberries, and strawberries.
  2. 2. Blend until smooth, or pulse for a chunkier texture.
  3. 3. Pour the mixture into bone-shaped silicone molds or any dog-friendly shape.
  4. 4. Tap the molds gently on the counter to remove air bubbles.
  5. 5. Freeze for at least 3-4 hours, or until fully set.
  6. 6. Pop the frozen bones out of the molds and serve as a cooling treat for your dog.

Notes

If your dog is lactose-intolerant, substitute Greek yogurt with unsweetened coconut yogurt.
Let the treat thaw for a couple of minutes if your dog has trouble chewing frozen treats.
Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Adjust serving size based on your dog’s size and dietary needs.
