Ingredients
Method
- Place the Greek yogurt, blueberries, and mashed banana in a blender or food processor.
- Blend on medium speed until the mixture is completely smooth and evenly purple, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Arrange 9 silicone muffin cups on a tray or plate that fits in your freezer.
- Pour or spoon the mixture into the silicone cups, filling each almost to the rim so the tops freeze flat.
- Carefully transfer the tray to the freezer and freeze for 4 hours, or until the treats are completely solid.
- Pop the frozen blueberry pupcakes out of the silicone cups.
- Serve 1 pupcake to your dog straight from the freezer and store the remaining treats in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer.
Notes
- Always use plain yogurt with no added sweeteners; never use xylitol because it is toxic to dogs.
- Serve in moderation, especially for dogs that are sensitive to dairy or have stomach issues; start with a small amount.
- You can make smaller treats using mini silicone molds and adjust your dog's portion accordingly.
- Store treats in a labeled freezer bag or container for up to 2 to 3 months for best quality.
