Method
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350º F and line two 6-inch cake pans with parchment paper.
- 2. In a large bowl, mix applesauce, oil, honey, eggs, and cheese together.
- 3. In another bowl, mix flour, oats, and baking powder together.
- 4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- 5. Equally, spoon the mixture into the cake pans.
- 6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 7. Let the cakes cool completely.
- 8. For whipped cream: In a cold bowl, add heavy cream and agar-agar powder. Whip until peaks form, add powdered sugar, and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
- 9. Use whipped cream as icing, top the cake and decorate as desired.
Notes
**Never use xylitol—it’s toxic to dogs!**
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
