- 1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
- 2. Peel, core, and finely grate the apple; squeeze out excess liquid.
- 3. In a bowl, mix flour and oats.
- 4. Add grated apple, ginger, applesauce, and egg; stir to form dough.
- 5. Add water as needed until dough is soft but not sticky.
- 6. Roll dough to ¼ inch thickness; cut into shapes or drop spoonfuls.
- 7. Place treats on a lined baking tray, 1 inch apart.
- 8. Bake for 18–25 minutes until golden.
- 9. Cool completely before serving.
Notes
Never use xylitol—it’s toxic to dogs!
Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
