Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¾ cup oat flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce or pumpkin puree
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed optional
  • ¼ cup unsalted chicken broth optional
  • 1-2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt optional

Method
 

  1. 1. Preheat the waffle maker and lightly spray with non-stick spray if needed.
  2. 2. Whisk applesauce, egg, melted coconut oil, and chicken broth in a large bowl.
  3. 3. Add oat flour, baking powder, flaxseed, and Greek yogurt; stir to form a thick batter.
  4. 4. Spoon batter into the waffle maker, cook 3-5 minutes until golden.
  5. 5. Cool on a wire rack completely before serving.

Notes

Never use xylitol—it’s toxic to dogs!
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
