Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour
  • 3/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

Method

  1. 1. Place melted coconut oil, coconut milk, and peanut butter in a large bowl. Stir until well combined and smooth.
  2. 2. Add the oat flour and coconut flour and blend well using a hand mixer, spoon, or hands.
  3. 3. Roll the mixture into balls about 1 to 2 inches thick.
  4. 4. Roll the balls in shredded coconut.
  5. 5. Leave them as balls or flatten with a fork like a cookie.
  6. 6. Store in the refrigerator.

Notes

Do not use peanut butter that contains xylitol, an artificial sweetener toxic to dogs.
You can make oat flour by blending old-fashioned rolled oats in a food processor or blender until it reaches flour consistency.
The number of treats can vary depending on the size you make them.
