Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups whole wheat flour or oat flour
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken or beef broth
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley or 2 tbsp fresh, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp dried mint optional

Method
 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. In a bowl, combine flour, parsley, and mint.
  3. 3. In another bowl, whisk egg and broth together.
  4. 4. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, mixing into a stiff dough.
  5. 5. Roll dough out to ¼-inch thickness.
  6. 6. Cut into shapes and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. 7. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. 8. Turn off oven and let treats cool inside to harden.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 weeks.
Ensure treats are completely cooled before storage.
