Method
- 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- 2. Place frozen veggies, stock cube, and water in a microwave-safe dish and microwave for 3 minutes or until soft.
- 3. Blend the mixture into a puree using a food processor or blender.
- 4. Add olive oil, wholemeal flour, rice flour, wheatgerm, and brewer's yeast. Mix until a dough forms, adding water if needed.
- 5. Roll dough to 5 mm thickness and cut into shapes using cookie cutters.
- 6. Place shapes on baking trays lined with parchment paper.
- 7. Bake for 20 minutes or until firm.
- 8. Turn off oven and let treats cool inside for about 90 minutes.
- 9. Store in an airtight container once cooled.
Notes
Always ensure the vegetables used are safe for dogs.
Avoid vegetables like onions and garlic, which are toxic to dogs.
