Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup natural xylitol-free peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup water or low-sodium chicken broth

Method
 

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, mix together flour and peanut butter.
  3. 3. Add the egg and blend well.
  4. 4. Gradually add water or broth until a dough forms.
  5. 5. Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface.
  6. 6. Cut into shapes using cookie cutters.
  7. 7. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. 8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. 9. Cool completely before serving to your dog.

Notes

Never use peanut butter containing xylitol—it’s toxic to dogs!
Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
