Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/8 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Method
 

  1. 1. In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Add remaining 1/4 cup warm water, olive oil, salt, and vinegar.
  3. 3. Gradually mix in flour until dough is smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. 4. Preheat oven to 475°F with a pizza stone inside.
  5. 5. Punch down dough, spread into a rectangle on parchment paper.
  6. 6. Mix melted butter and garlic; spread over dough. Top with cheeses.
  7. 7. Transfer dough on parchment to hot pizza stone. Bake 8-12 minutes until golden.

Notes

Make dough 3-4 hours ahead, refrigerate for rising.
Freeze dough for up to 3 months; thaw overnight before using.
