Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves finely chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour or substitute with whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup water adjust as needed
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil optional

Method
 

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. 2. Finely chop the parsley and mint leaves.
  3. 3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the parsley, mint, and egg. Stir until well mixed.
  4. 4. Gradually add oat flour, coconut oil (if using), and water. Mix until a firm dough forms.
  5. 5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  6. 6. Cut the dough into sticks or use cookie cutters to create fun shapes.
  7. 7. Place the shapes on the baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until firm and slightly golden.
  8. 8. Allow the treats to cool completely before serving to your dog.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for longer freshness.
Adjust the water quantity for the right dough consistency.
Consider substituting oat flour with rice flour for dogs with grain sensitivities.
Optional add-ins like turmeric or cinnamon can boost flavor and nutritional benefits.
