- 4. Add water if dough is too dry. Knead on a lightly floured surface until firm and pliable.
- 5. Roll dough into 6-inch-long ropes and twist into spirals.
- 6. Place twists on baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden-brown.
- 7. Cool completely before serving.

Ensure peanut butter is xylitol-free, as xylitol is toxic to dogs.
For a crunchier texture, let treats cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar.
Substitute whole wheat flour with oat flour for a gluten-free option.
