Pumpkin Banana Cookies for Dogs: Fall Flavor in Every Bite

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted and cooled
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 1/4 cup mashed banana
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, mix sugars, melted butter, pumpkin puree, vanilla, and mashed banana until smooth.
  3. 3. In another bowl, whisk flour, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, baking soda, and salt.
  4. 4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. 5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. 6. Drop 1.5 tablespoon portions of dough onto the baking sheet.
  7. 7. Bake for 9-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  8. 8. Cool on the baking sheet for several minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
