Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree unsweetened, not pumpkin pie filling
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter xylitol-free
  • 1 cup plain unsweetened yogurt regular or Greek
  • Optional: 1-2 tsp honey only if additional sweetness is desired

Method

  1. 1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, peanut butter, and yogurt.
  2. 2. Add honey if desired, and mix until well incorporated.
  3. 3. For a smoother texture, blend the mixture in a blender or food processor (optional).
  4. 4. Pour the mixture into silicone molds, small paper cups, or an ice cube tray.
  5. 5. Freeze for at least 4-5 hours or until fully set.
  6. 6. Pop out a frozen portion and serve to your dog!

Notes

Use natural peanut butter without xylitol, as it is toxic to dogs.
If your dog is lactose intolerant, replace yogurt with a lactose-free alternative like coconut yogurt.
For smaller dogs, use mini molds or ice cube trays for portion control.
Add dog-safe toppings like blueberries or diced bananas for extra flavor and nutrition.
