- 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare a baking sheet.
- 2. Combine grated carrots, apple, egg, applesauce, and optional oil and cinnamon in a bowl.
- 3. Gradually add oat flour until a firm dough forms.
- 4. Shape dough into a 1/2-inch thick rectangle or use cookie cutters.
- 5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and firm.
- 6. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
Always remove apple seeds and cores to avoid cyanide.
Ensure applesauce is unsweetened and xylitol-free.
